I have difficutly finding winter slippers that are cruelty free and eco friendly. I usually buy non mulsed NZ wool slippers, wool only not sheepskin. I was so pleased to see that NW has brought out a cotton slipper. Lovely smooth lining inside. a range of gorgeous colours.. Good grippy sole. Will buy again. I recommend these to anyone looking for a vegan slipper that is also biodegradable and not a synthetic bit in sight.

Once we have finished producing the colecction, the fabric that has been discarded during the cutting process is send to a textile recycling plant and recombined with organic cotton

During the manufacture of our soles, all the leftover rubber is powdered for future reuse. When the new rubber is made, approximately 30% of the recycled rubber is incorporated into it.
