Organic cotton, natural rubber, fully washable

Our canvas trainers use GOTS-certified organic cotton for the upper — grown without pesticides, naturally breathable and soft against young skin. Even worn without socks on a warm day, no irritation, no overheating.

The soles are natural rubber from the rubber tree — flexible, grippy and cushioned. Canvas and rubber are bonded by vulcanisation (heat and pressure, no chemical glues), which makes the trainers more durable and fully machine washable at 30 °C. A short cycle, air dry in the shade, and they're ready for another round.

The entire collection carries Green Trade World certification — no harmful substances at any stage of production.

Frequently asked questions

Can girls' canvas trainers go in the washing machine?

Yes. All our canvas models with natural rubber soles are machine washable at 30 °C on a short cycle. Remove the insoles first, wash with similar colours and air dry in the shade. Avoid tumble drying — it can affect the shape and the rubber. For stubborn stains like grass or mud, a quick rub with Marseille soap before washing works well.

What are they made of?

The upper is GOTS-certified organic cotton — breathable, hypoallergenic and grown without pesticides. The sole is natural rubber, bonded by vulcanisation (no chemical glues). Safe, flexible and built to last.

Slip-ons, velcro or lace-ups — which is best?

Slip-ons are the fastest option — no fastening at all, great for girls who like independence. Velcro gives a secure, adjustable fit that younger girls can handle on their own. Lace-ups offer the most structured fit and a classic look. All three use the same organic cotton and natural rubber, so quality and comfort are identical.

Can they be worn without socks?

Yes. The organic cotton lining is soft and breathable, so feet stay comfortable without socks even on warm days. No irritation, no overheating — the cotton is naturally hypoallergenic.

What sizes are available?

Our girls' canvas trainers come in a range of European sizes. Check the size guide on each product page for detailed measurements. We recommend leaving around 10–12 mm of growing room beyond the longest toe, as children's feet grow quickly.

Are they suitable for school?

Canvas trainers work well as everyday school shoes in warmer months, and many parents use them for PE. Plain colours like black, navy and white are the most school-friendly options. Check your school's uniform policy, as some require specific styles or colours.
